The Blue Door Inn in Alma, Wisconsin offers you an apartment that can be expanded from 1 bed/1 bath to 3 beds/3 baths in our historic building located on the Mississippi River. Everything you need to move in is provided, just bring your bag. The entire building has been restored exposing rock walls, brick and original wood floors. This beautiful apartment is located in the safe, fun, and walkable historic town of Alma, Wisconsin. Great "retreat" space.  Perfect for artists & authors, business travelers, travel nurses, and for extended stays. 

 

ACCOMMODATIONS

BEDROOM(S):
One to Three Bedrooms with Baths: queen size beds with open closet and chest of drawers. Linens are provided and will be laundered weekly for you.

 

BATHROOM:

Large bathroom with claw foot soaking tub and hand-held shower.  Two large bathrooms with walk-in showers.  Towels are provided and will be laundered weekly for you.

 

KITCHEN:

Stainless steel appliances in the eat-in kitchen. Coffee maker, toaster, dishes, silverware, cutlery, pots & pans, glassware and wine glasses are provided.

 

FAMILY ROOM:

Room to stretch out and relax. Full-size sofa bed for guests. Smart TV provided with DVD but no cable, satellite or live TV service. WiFi available for streaming services like ROKU or FireStick.


OUTSIDE SPACE:

Great 75-foot porch looking toward the Mississippi River.  Access to gardens, patio, fire pit, gas grill & pizza oven.

Located on the Wisconsin Great River Road, Wisconsin State Highway 35, on the Mississippi River in Alma Wisconsin.

    • 45 minute drive to Red Wing MN
    • 60 minute drive to Rochester MN, Eau Claire WI and La Cross WI
    • 90 minute drive to Minneapolis/St Paul MN

 

WELCOME KITS & LINENS

  • Toiletries Welcome Kit provided upon arrival are toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, ear plugs, cotton balls & swabs, Kleenex, bubble bath. They are not replenished during your stay.
  • Cleaning Supplies Welcome Kit provided upon arrival are dishwashing soap, window cleaner, wet & dry Swiffer pads, microfiber cloth. They are not replenished during your stay.
  • Linens provided included Egyptian cotton sheets and blanket.  Flannel sheets available during winter months.  Two full sets of Egyptian cotton towels (bath, hand & wash cloth).  Your rental includes a free weekly laundering of sheets, blanket & towels.
